Canon 1d Mk III Petition

 

A large number of Photographers both Amateur and Pro have experienced

focusing issues with their Mark III equipment. Canon has attempted to repair these issues in

good faith - but for the most part, countless dollars, time and images have been lost as a result

of focusing issues with the camera.

If you are one such photographer and because of your investment in Canon glass

you are considering the purchase of a new Canon 1d Mk IV when that body becomes available,

and you think that Canon should in some way subsidize 1d Mk III owners with a rebate,

please read the following and respond accordingly.

 

Send an email with "Petition" as the subject and your name and email address, in the message body to petition@croxie.com.

On Monday evening, Hawaii time, I'll put a list together and send the results to Canon with a request that

they make some kind of offer to those of us who have stuck it out, as a sign of good faith and in keeping with their other "loyalty" programs.
